Susan joined PCTA-PESPA in March of 2019 as a Membership Service Director. She advocates, represents and provides support to the members of PCTA & PESPA. She is a product of the Pinellas County Schools, graduated from USF and taught in PCS for 28 years. As the political climate changed and began threatening public education, her passion shifted from actually teaching to defending public education and public-school educators.

Jamie joins PCTA-PESPA as a Member Services Director, bringing 23 years as a public school teacher, strong union member, and advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. Her union work consisted of being elected to the ClayCEA Executive Board, holding a seat at the bargaining table and working to increase membership. Jamie attended the NEA, Pre-UniServ Academy 2018 where she received training on effective ways to assist local leaders in organizing efforts to increase membership, as well as advocating and member representation.

Bryan joins PCTA-PESPA as a Membership Services Director, bringing a 20 year teaching career (10 of those as a local Union leader in SW Florida) with a wealth of knowledge as a Staff member. Bryan was raised Union and brings a passion and drive to the work of our Union. His unwavering dedication to the concept of solidarity and organizing as the strength of a union will serve our members well.

Prior to coming to PCTA-PESPA Sheryl taught for 30 years at Westgate Elementary School in Pinellas County. She was an active PCTA member and building representative. She is now working with PCTA & PESPA in her second career as the Membership Specialist. In this position, she is tasked with keeping accurate membership records, answering phones and helping complete projects. Sheryl is now a proud member of PEER (our retired sister union).
