Elections Committee- shall be established by the PCTA bylaws.

Committee Charges:

·  The committee will review the elections procedures, ensure they comply with all laws and governing documents and present revisions they deem appropriate to the President/Executive Board for approval.

·  The committee will oversee all elections for Officers, Directors, Constitution/Bylaws revisions and ratifications.

·  The committee will supervise the counting of all ballots and report the results to the President for distribution to the membership at large.

·  The committee will receive and resolve all election challenges in a timely fashion and report their ruling to the President.

This committee is an excellent way to increase your participation in union leadership!
